Foreword



Living Free. Those words conjure up different
meaning to different people. What do they mean to
you? To me they mean being free to choose to do
what I want, when I want. They also mean wealth –
real wealth.
As far back as I can remember, I have wanted to
be financially independent. I wasn’t born into money.
In fact, I grew up rather poor. I didn’t follow an
education path that would lead to wealth, and the
employment opportunities for me were not
high paying.

Then I discovered real estate. It took me a few
years to figure out the ins and outs, but eventually I
reached my goal of financial independence. And I
must say, life is good! If you share the same desire for
freedom in your financial life that motivated me, my
advice is to skip the “get rich quick” schemes. Slow
and steady wins the race.
